The Sun Fire V490 server supports up to 2 Dual Ultra SPARC IV+ CPU/ Memory Modules. This system ships with 1 Dual 1.5GHz Ultra SPARC IV CPU/ 8GB Memory Module, leaving space for additional Dual 1.5GHz IV CPU/ 8GB Memory Module.

Disk Drive:

The Sun Fire V490 server contains Two FC-AL disk bays. This system configuration ships with Two 146GB disks pre-installed, leaving no available slots for expansion.

Graphics Card:

Graphics card is optional with V490 server. Select card if you intend to connect server directly to a monitor

Warranty Upgrade for Hardware Only:

The Sun V490 Server comes standard with 1 year warranty direct from MCA. Warranty covers complete system against any hardware failures, provides immediate replacement against failed part.
